Acceptable Use Policy

1. You May Not Use FSO To:

• Break the law
• Commit fraud
• Scam or deceive others
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others
• Distribute malware, viruses, spyware, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Interfere with website functionality
• Scrape or collect information through unauthorized automated means
• Spam users
• Send unauthorized marketing communications
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Upload content that violates another person's privacy rights
• Submit knowingly false event information
• Promote fraudulent events
• Misrepresent a business, organization, product, service, or event
• Circumvent payment requirements
• Attempt to obtain services without payment
• Use another person's account without authorization
• Manipulate event listings, memberships, reviews, or community features
• Engage in illegal discrimination
• Promote violence or criminal activity
• Upload sexually explicit content where prohibited by the platform
• Upload content involving exploitation of minors
• Conduct unlawful transactions
• Use FSO for activities that could create legal or security risks for FSO or its users

2. Event Submissions

Event organizers must provide accurate information.

You may not knowingly submit:

• Fake events
• Misleading event details
• False venue information
• False ticket prices
• False sponsorship claims
• Misleading promotional statements
• Events you are not authorized to promote

FSO may remove or reject event submissions at any time.

3. Business and Promotional Content

Businesses and organizations using FSO for promotional purposes are responsible for ensuring that their advertising, claims, pricing, products, services, and promotional materials are accurate and lawful.

FSO may reject or remove promotional content that violates this policy.

4. Intellectual Property

You may not upload or use content that you do not have permission to use.

By submitting photographs, graphics, logos, videos, text, trademarks, or other materials, you represent that you have the right to provide that material to FSO for the requested purpose.

5. Respectful Community Participation

FSO is intended to provide a space for businesses, creatives, event organizers, members, and community participants to connect.

Disagreement is allowed.

Harassment, threats, targeted abuse, discriminatory conduct, or attempts to disrupt the community are not.

6. Security

You may not attempt to:

• Access another person's account
• Circumvent authentication
• Probe or scan the website for vulnerabilities without authorization
• Interfere with servers
• Introduce malicious software
• Overload website systems
• Access restricted administrative functions
• Reverse engineer protected systems except where legally permitted

7. Enforcement

FSO may investigate suspected violations.

Depending on the situation, FSO may:

• Remove content
• Reject an event
• Suspend an account
• Remove a listing
• Cancel membership access
• Cancel or decline a sponsorship
• Restrict access to services
• Terminate an account
• Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities

FSO is not required to provide advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary.

9. No Guarantee of User Content

FSO does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, or reliability of content submitted by users, businesses, event organizers, sponsors, or other third parties.

Users are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it.

10. Policy Changes

FSO may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the platform develops.

The “Last Updated” date will identify the current version.
